UNIQUE relations communicates for Volvo Car Austria and launches a major safety campaign

UNIQUE relations, the renowned Viennese PR agency, is pleased to welcome Volvo Car Austria as a new client. Starting in September, UNIQUE relations will take over the strategic communication consulting as well as the entire PR support for the Swedish car manufacturer in Austria. This long-term cooperation will start with a major PR campaign focusing on road safety from a child’s perspective.

Comprehensive support from corporate communications to PR stunts

As part of the cooperation, UNIQUE relations will be responsible for strategic communications consulting and media relations for Volvo in Austria and will also develop and implement customized PR activities. The aim of this partnership is to further strengthen Volvo’s brand profile as a premium provider of safe and innovative vehicles in Austria and to expand the brand’s competitive position. Targeted communication measures and creative out-of-the-box ideas are intended to anchor Volvo even more firmly in the minds of Austrian consumers as a pioneer in vehicle safety and technological innovation. Innovative PR campaign to launch the collaboration

The collaboration kicks off with a comprehensive PR campaign based on the results of a recent study in which children and young people were asked about their parents’ driving behavior. Worryingly, almost one in three children said that their parents use their cell phones while driving, which significantly increases the risk of accidents. This campaign aims to raise awareness of safe driving behavior and emphasize the role model function of parents.
